City Centre Church Leaders Meeting – Nottingham (17 Oct. ’13)

THURSDAY 17th October 2013

As budget cuts are made to public services and projects, the number and needs of the homeless will increase while services to them are reduced.

Hope into Action was begun by people who believe that the local church can have a vital role to play in helping the homeless and those in a vulnerable situation.  At the centre of everything they do are the people, the homeless, those in prison, or simply those lost?  Their Ethos Statement is ‘Every house must be opened in partnership with a church’

Hope into Action has an ambition to be serving 20 cities by 2020 and is now in Nottingham.

Our host for this meeting will be Hope into Action’s Nottingham co-ordinator, Anna Allen, who will explain what they do.

We shall be meeting in the Christian Centre at 104 -114, Talbot Street (near the Canning Circus end of Talbot Street)

The meeting starts at noon and finishes by 1.30pm (please note this particular meeting takes place on a Thursday!). A light buffet lunch is provided.

To help with the catering arrangements please let me know whether or not you will be there.

Many thanks,
